I can't help but feel sorry for Stephen Hawking. From a well respected scientist to a bit of a laughing stock and now a persona non grata amongst people who are God believers. Not long ago he came right out about the existence of aliens. According to him aliens will be the unfriendly sort. Hawking is now saying the there is no God; that the universe could have easily sprung from the force of gravity. Apparently gravity can create something out of nothing. ...

The BBC should really look at itself where it can save. This corporation is becoming out of control. The monies we lavish it in forms of licence fee apparently is not enough to run the corporation. They want more. I don't think at its present state the BBC is even worth the licence fee. They have not had any programme worth watching. Most are rehash and repeats of same old things. With the monies they are paying their executives they should have been able to run the BBC competently. ...
