Well the law is the law. I think for once, I commend the greedy clampers. Why? Because it is only right that law is applied to everybody regardless of who you are - rich as crousus or as poor as a park bench dweller.

There permanent resident of ravens at the Tower of London.

These ravens are important to the folklore of the tower.

Apparently a brave king of Britain during the Dark ages had requested that upon his death his head should be buried where the Tower of London is now located. The head will ask as a talisman for anti-invasion. His name was King Bran Hen of Bryneich, bran is a welsh word for raven.

Allegedly ravens have since then became a permanent fixture at the Tower and it is believed that if the raven should go the White Tower will crumble and the kingdom and monarchy would fall.

This year is that 50th anniversary of the book by Nelle Harper Lee. I saw a recent documentary where the presenter went to the hometown of the author in Alabama.

The author was nowhere to be seen but all the same her machination on how everything should work and appear was palpable.

Lee only wrote one book. The instant success of the book seemed to have driven her to becoming a recluse.

"Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corncribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird."
